A greengrocer's shop was identified in Kelly's Directory of Hampshire and IOW in 1898 as being at 28 Grosvenor Road Aldershot, shop named William Boraman and Son. William died in 1888 so presumably Charles continued to run the shop.
The photo of Charles following the fox hunt on Laffan's Plain had the following inscription associated with it (possibly from the local newspaper):
"Mr C J Boraman, a follower for more than 50 years and Albert Hall, the terrier man, who has had 25 years of hunting in this district".
Victoria Cottage stood in the grounds of the land in Fir Acre Road and housed some of Charles' and Clara's older children.
Left assets of £73 12s 1d to Ethel, the wife of his son Joseph Foy.
